JFK Books

There are a slew of new books out marking the 50th anniversary of the JFK assassination: biographies, histories, photographic collections and a new round of conspiracy theory books.

Which to chose? Here are four reviewers believe will have lasting impact. Dallas 1963, describes that city’s dangerous anti-Kennedy atmosphere at the time of the tragedy; Philip Shenon’s A Cruel and Shocking Act and Anthony SummersNot in Your Lifetime both focus on weaknesses and omissions in the Warren Commission‘s investigation. And, for the first time, Life Books has printed all 486 frames of the famous Zapruder film in The Day Kennedy Died.
