Is a leading primatologist guilty of some literary monkey business?
Jane Goodall’s book, “Seeds of Hope,” was set to be published this month, but it’s now postponed. A report claimed at least 12 sections in the book were lifted from other websites, including Wikipedia. Goodall admits she failed to correctly to cite her sources.
Seeds of Hope will be an examination, of “the critical role trees and plants play in our world.” Goodall, famous for her studies of chimps, admits she’s “spent a lifetime loving plants, though she’s never studied them as a scientist”.
