BOOK TO MOVIES

Which popular books will make the journey to the big screen this year?

The Great Gatsby” will hit theaters in May. The film, directed by Moulin Rouge magician       Baz Luhrman, stars Leonardo di Caprio. Then, another John Le Carre adaptation, “A Most Wanted Man,” promises white knuckle intrigue. And “The Wolf of Wall Street,” directed by Martin Scorcese, is based on Jordan Belfort’s tell all title. Look for two more installments of popular young adult series at year end: the new Hobbit, and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Also coming in November is Orson Scott Card’s “Ender’s Game,” which was the bestselling sci fi book of 2012.
